How to change your address on Instacart

To change your address on Instacart: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

The short version

Go straight to the address settings: https://www.instacart.com/store/account/addresses

  1. Log into Instacart on the website or app, then open your account menu (the three-line icon on web, or the Account icon in the app)
  2. Go to Account Settings, then select Addresses (or tap the address shown at the top of the homepage)
  3. To add a new address, type it in, confirm the suggested match, adjust the map pin if needed, and select Save Address
  4. To edit or remove an existing address, click Edit next to it, then update the details and save, or choose Delete address to remove it

One Instacart gotcha: Changing your address only affects future orders — if you already have a delivery in progress with the wrong address, you'll need to contact Instacart support directly, since orders with alcohol, high-value items, an assigned shopper, or a different delivery zone can't be edited and must be cancelled and reordered.
