How to change your address on OptumRx

To change your address on OptumRx: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

The short version

Go straight to the address settings: https://www.optumrx.com/

  1. Sign in to your OptumRx account at optumrx.com using your HealthSafe ID username and password (register first with your member ID or SSN if you haven't).
  2. Go to the Shipping address section of your account.
  3. To add a new address, select Add, fill out the address form, and click Add address.
  4. If you keep multiple addresses, designate one as your preferred address so home delivery orders and automatic refills go to the right place.
  5. Confirm any address corrections OptumRx suggests to ensure accurate delivery.

One OptumRx gotcha: OptumRx lets you store multiple shipping addresses rather than simply overwriting one, so if you've moved, be sure to set your new address as the 'preferred' one — otherwise automatic refills may still ship to your old location.
