How to change your address on Global Entry / TSA PreCheck
Moving? Global Entry / TSA PreCheck still has your old address until you tell it otherwise. Here’s the fastest path.
The short version
- Sign in to your Global Entry / TSA PreCheck account — the address settings live here: https://ttp.dhs.gov/. You may need to re-verify with a code.
- Find the profile / contact / address section and replace your old address with the new one. Watch for separate mailing vs billing addresses — update both.
- Save, then check the confirmation. Some services email a security notice; that’s normal.
Worth knowing for government accounts
- Government records are the highest-stakes updates: your driver’s license, vehicle registration, tax refunds, and benefits all route to the address on file.
- Most agencies require the update within 10–30 days of moving — sooner is safer.
