  1. Sign in to your my Social Security account at ssa.gov/myaccount.
  2. Open the Contact Information or Address section and enter your new address.
  3. Save; if you receive benefits, confirm your payment method is still correct.

One Social Security Administration gotcha. SSA and Medicare share one record. Updating your address here also updates Medicare, so you don’t need to do both.
