How to change your address on Bank of America

To change your address on Bank of America: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

The short version

Go straight to the address settings: https://secure.bankofamerica.com/customer-uci/manage-contacts/?request_locale=en-us&returnSiteIndicator=GAIMW

  1. Sign in and go to Profile & Settings → Contact information.
  2. Edit your address; you’ll be asked whether to apply it to all accounts or one.
  3. Choose all accounts, then save.

One Bank of America gotcha: If you pick a single account by mistake, statements and cards for your other BofA accounts keep going to the old address.

Worth knowing for banking accounts

  • Banks mail replacement cards, statements, and fraud alerts — an old address here is a real security risk, not just an inconvenience.
  • Update the mailing address on each account, and check that paperless settings didn’t hide an old physical address.
