How to change your address on PayPal
Sign in to PayPal, open Settings › Account › Address, replace your mailing address and save.
Steps
- Open Settings (gear icon) → Account → Addresses.
- Add your new address and set it as Primary.
- Delete the old address so it can’t be reused at checkout.
One PayPal gotcha. PayPal ships and bills to your Primary address. Adding a new one without setting it primary and removing the old one changes nothing.

Worth knowing for banking accounts
- Banks mail replacement cards, statements, and fraud alerts, so an old address here is a real security risk.
- Update the mailing address on each account, and check that paperless settings didn’t hide an old physical address.
