How to change your address on Venmo
Moving? Venmo still has your old address until you tell it otherwise. Here’s the fastest path.
The short version
- Sign in to your Venmo account — the address settings live here: https://account.venmo.com/settings/profile. You may need to re-verify with a code.
- Find the profile / contact / address section and replace your old address with the new one. Watch for separate mailing vs billing addresses — update both.
- Save, then check the confirmation. Some services email a security notice; that’s normal.
Worth knowing for banking accounts
- Banks mail replacement cards, statements, and fraud alerts — an old address here is a real security risk, not just an inconvenience.
- Update the mailing address on each account, and check that paperless settings didn’t hide an old physical address.
Venmo is one account. The average mover has 15–40 more —Movepost finds yours from your email (headers only, it can’t read your messages), opens each site, and autofills your new address while you check them off.Find my accounts free →
