How to change your address on Geico
To change your address on Geico: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.
The short version
Go straight to the address settings: https://ecams.geico.com/policy
- Sign in and open your policy → contact/address information.
- Update your garaging address and save.
- Also update your driver’s license and vehicle registration for the new state/ZIP.
One Geico gotcha: Auto premiums are priced by garaging ZIP — expect your rate to change when you move, sometimes significantly.

Worth knowing for insurance accounts
- Your address is part of how insurers price your policy — auto and renters premiums change by ZIP code, and a stale address can jeopardize a claim.
- Update before you need to file anything: claims adjusters check that the address matches the policy.
