How to change your address on PenFed Credit Union
Sign in to PenFed Credit Union, open the profile or contact section, replace your mailing address and save.
Steps
- Sign in to your PenFed account through PenFed Online at penfed.org or via the PenFed Mobile app.
- On the web, click your name in the top-right corner and choose Update Profile Information; in the app, tap the profile icon and then Contact Information.
- Click Edit next to the Address section and complete the passcode or identity verification steps to confirm who you are.
- Enter your new address, submit the update, and review the confirmation to make sure everything is correct.
One PenFed Credit Union gotcha. PenFed may require you to upload proof of your new address (an unexpired government-issued photo ID, utility bill, or lease) using the Identity Authentication Category. Also, if your physical and mailing addresses differ, you can't change the physical address yourself online — you'll need to contact PenFed directly.

- Banks mail replacement cards, statements, and fraud alerts, so an old address here is a real security risk.
- Update the mailing address on each account, and check that paperless settings didn’t hide an old physical address.
