How to change your address on Sallie Mae

To change your address on Sallie Mae: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

Go straight to the address settings: https://www.salliemae.com/

  1. Sign in to your Sallie Mae account at salliemae.com.
  2. Click the Profile icon and choose My profile.
  3. Select Edit address to update your mailing address (or Edit contact information for email and phone).
  4. Enter your new details and click Save.

One Sallie Mae gotcha: Updating your address here only changes contact info—it won't update the name on your account, which requires mailing or uploading two accepted ID documents separately.
