How to change your address on SoFi

Short answer

Sign in to SoFi, open the profile or contact section, replace your mailing address and save.

Steps

Sign in to your SoFi account on the website or mobile app.
On the app, tap your Profile Icon (top left) and choose My Information; on the website, click your name (top right), select My Profile, then find the Contact Info section.
Click the Edit link/button and enter your new home or mailing address in the correct field.
Scroll down and select Update address to save the change.

One SoFi gotcha. Your home address must be a real physical location — P.O. Boxes are only accepted for the mailing address, not the home address.

Worth knowing for banking accounts

Banks mail replacement cards, statements, and fraud alerts, so an old address here is a real security risk.
Update the mailing address on each account, and check that paperless settings didn’t hide an old physical address.
