How to change your address on Coinbase

Steps

1. Sign in to your Coinbase account. The address settings live here: https://accounts.coinbase.com/profile. You may need to re-verify with a code.
2. Find the profile, contact or address section and replace your old address with the new one. Watch for separate mailing and billing addresses, and update both.
3. Save, then check the confirmation. Some services email a security notice; that’s normal.

• Brokerages mail tax documents (1099s) to the address on file. A stale address means missing tax season paperwork.
• Some address changes at brokerages trigger a short hold on outgoing transfers; do this early, not during a trade.
