How to change your address on Robinhood
To change your address on Robinhood: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.
The short version
Go straight to the address settings: https://robinhood.com/account/settings
- Open the Robinhood app and tap the Account icon, then the menu (three lines) and choose Settings
- Tap Personal information, then Address
- Type in your new mailing address and confirm the save
- On the web version, go to Account > Settings > Address, enter the new details, and click Save
One Robinhood gotcha: Robinhood automatically mails a confirmation notice to your old address whenever you change it, and it may tweak formatting to match USPS standards — plus your new address won't retroactively appear on past statements or tax forms.

Worth knowing for investing accounts
- Brokerages mail tax documents (1099s) to the address on file — a stale address means missing tax season paperwork.
- Some address changes at brokerages trigger a short hold on outgoing transfers; do this early, not during a trade.
