How to change your address on Edward Jones
Sign in to Edward Jones, open the profile or contact section, replace your mailing address and save.
Steps
- Sign in to your Edward Jones Online Access account and click your name in the top-right corner.
- Choose "Profile" from the menu.
- Open "Personal Information" to view and edit your primary address.
- Use "Communication Preferences" if you also need to update your email or phone number, or reach out to your financial advisor for help.
One Edward Jones gotcha. On certain devices the mobile app won't let you change contact info — you'll need to tap "Visit Full Site" under the "More" menu to update your address.

- Brokerages mail tax documents (1099s) to the address on file. A stale address means missing tax season paperwork.
- Some address changes at brokerages trigger a short hold on outgoing transfers; do this early, not during a trade.
