How to change your address on UnitedHealthcare

To change your address on UnitedHealthcare: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

The short version

Go straight to the address settings: https://www.myuhc.com/

  1. Sign in to your UnitedHealthcare member account at member.uhc.com, or open the UnitedHealthcare mobile app and log in
  2. Navigate to the 'My Account' section from the main menu
  3. Select 'Account settings' and then choose 'View all account settings'
  4. Find the address/contact info field, enter your new mailing address, and save your changes before navigating away

One UnitedHealthcare gotcha: UnitedHealthcare requires you to save changes before leaving the account settings page, or your new address won't be recorded—there's no separate 'confirm' step afterward.

Worth knowing for insurance accounts

  • Your address is part of how insurers price your policy — auto and renters premiums change by ZIP code, and a stale address can jeopardize a claim.
  • Update before you need to file anything: claims adjusters check that the address matches the policy.
