How to change your address on Cox
To change your address on Cox: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.
The short version
Go straight to the address settings: https://www.cox.com/
- Sign in to your existing Cox account online or in the Cox app and look for the 'move' or 'transfer service' option to start updating your address
- Enter your new address and moving date so Cox can confirm service availability and schedule the transfer
- Choose whether to self-install with the Easy Connect option or schedule a technician-assisted Pro Connect setup at your new home
- Bring all existing Cox equipment (modem, cables, boxes) to your new address unless you're a Quick Connect customer, in which case leave the equipment behind
One Cox gotcha: Self-installing via Easy Connect is free, but if a technician visit (Pro Connect) is needed to set up service at the new address, Cox charges an installation fee.
