How to change your address on Verizon

Sign in to Verizon, open the profile or contact section, replace your mailing address and save.

Steps

  1. Sign in to My Verizon → Account → Profile.
  2. Update your billing address and save.
  3. For home internet/Fios, place a separate move-service order.

One Verizon gotcha. Billing address and service/e911 address are different. A mobile plan may only need a billing update, but internet needs a transfer order.

Worth knowing for phone & internet accounts

  • Carriers bill by service address, and e911 location for your phone line depends on it being current.
  • Internet providers may need an appointment at the new address. Schedule before moving day.
