How to change your address on Entergy
To change your address on Entergy: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.
The short version
Go straight to the address settings: https://www.entergy.com/
- Sign in to your account at myEntergy.com, or register first if you don't already have an online account.
- Open the Start, Stop or Move Service tool (myentergy.com/s/newservice) to update your service location and address details.
- Enter your new address and move dates, then submit the request to transfer or update your service.
- If you'd rather handle it by phone, call 800-ENTERGY (800-368-3749), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT.
One Entergy gotcha: Entergy only serves Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, so a 'move' to an address outside those states means stopping service rather than transferring it — you'll need a new provider at the new location.

Worth knowing for utilities accounts
- Utilities usually need a stop-service date at the old address and a start-service date at the new one — it’s two orders, not one edit.
- Book this a week or two ahead; same-day starts often aren’t available.
