How to change your address on PG&E

To change your address on PG&E: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

The short version

Go straight to the address settings: https://myaccount.pge.com/myaccount/s/

  1. Sign in and open the Move Center (or “Start/Stop/Transfer service”).
  2. Schedule a stop at your old address and a start at your new one.
  3. Book 1–2 weeks ahead — same-day starts often aren’t available.

One PG&E gotcha: Utilities aren’t an address edit — they’re two orders (stop + start). Miss the start order and you arrive to no power.

Steps last generated August 19, 2026. Confirm onPG&E’s own site — forms and menus change.

Worth knowing for utilities accounts

  • Utilities usually need a stop-service date at the old address and a start-service date at the new one — it’s two orders, not one edit.
  • Book this a week or two ahead; same-day starts often aren’t available.
