How to change your address on Southern California Edison

To change your address on Southern California Edison: sign in, open the address settings page linked below, replace your old mailing (and billing) address, and save. It takes about five minutes once you’re signed in.

The short version

Go straight to the address settings: https://www.sce.com/

  1. Go to SCE's online Move Service page (sce.com/oto/movecenter/transfer) and have your driver's license or ID plus Social Security number on hand.
  2. Choose 'Residential,' then select 'Transfer Service' to move your existing account to the new address (if you've already scheduled a move-out, you can instead choose 'Start Service').
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your new address details, move date, and identification information.
  4. Review and submit your request; SCE will use this to close out billing at the old address and open service at the new one.

One Southern California Edison gotcha: This transfer option only works if your new home is still within SCE's service territory — if you're moving outside SCE's coverage area, you'll need to stop service instead and set up a new account with the utility that serves your new address.
